Sally Hansen Big Game Day Nails!

Sally Hansen Big Game Day Nails – Press Samples

My team is not playing this year (so sad!) but that doesn’t mean I can’t prepare for tomorrow with nail art! As always, Sally Hansen has you covered. They have the perfect shades for you to sport whether your loyalty lies with New England or Atlanta! Let’s get to the looks!

For this look I followed these steps:

  1. Paint with your favorite strengthening base coat. I like Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Smooth and Strength Base Coat
  2. Do one coat of Complete Salon Manicure in Red My Lips. Let dry.
  3. Do one more coat of Complete Salon Manicure in Red My Lips. Let dry.
  4. Use  Hooked on Onyx- Sally Hansen‘s Complete Salon Manicure™ (or Complete Gel Pat on the Black). Take the brush and brush on a piece of paper or note card until the majority of the polish is off the brush. Then use the dry brush technique to add the brush affect on your index and pinkie.
  5. Use striping tape or tape and lay strips diagonally on your middle and ring finger. Carefully paint the black over the spaces in the striping tape then immediately remove the tape so you don’t get feathered lines.
  6. Use Miracle Gel Top Coat to seal it all in!

For this look I followed these steps:

  1. Paint your index and pink with two coats of Miracle Gel Buffalo Nickel. Let dry between coats.
  2. Paint your middle and ring finger with two coats of Miracle Gel Red-gy. Let dry between coats.
  3. It’s very important to make sure your base coats are dry, so the vinyls don’t peel up the base layers!
  4. Use striping tape or thin strips of tape on your index and pinkie. Paint thin layers over Buffalo Nickel with Red-gy and Miracle Gel Midnight Mod
  5. For the middle and ring fingers I used a star decal. The star decal was two parts. I peeled off the middle part of the decal and painted the inner star with Buffalo Nickel. Then I carefully painted with Midnight Mod around the outside of the star. I peeled off the star vinyl and was left with what you see!
  6. Finish off the manicure with Miracle Gel Top Coat.

So, there you have it! Are you ready for the Big Game tomorrow? Who are you rooting for?

An innovative and award-winning development in nail color, Sally Hansen Miracle Gel™ is a two-step, no light gel manicure system; simply apply two coats of the Miracle Gel™ color of your choice, then follow with the Miracle Gel™ Top Coat.
